Acciaroli

Acciaroli is a charming fishing village on the Cilento Coast and certainly a tourist resort of excellence to spend their holidays.

For many years Acciaroli has been awarded the “5 sails” of Legambiente and the Blue Flag for the quality of its waters and the beauty of its beaches. Going to a non-summer period you will be able to better appreciate the beauty of its beach, with very few people, and you will be able to see with your own eyes that the sea is truly amazing.

Acciaroli is a fraction of the municipality of Pollica, in the province of Salerno. A hidden corner of our territory on which we want to intrigue you not only through photos and useful information, but making you taste the relish of discovery.

Its historic center can truly be defined as a favor box with all-stone houses, with balconies full of flowers and blue doors. The only way to visit it is on foot: we can lose ourselves in its narrow streets, delight in colors and culinary scents that intertwine with that of the sea.

The Church of the Annunziata of Acciaroli is very ancient, testified already in 1187 and it probably rises on a previous Roman villa.

The Norman tower is one of the symbols that tourists see when they get in Acciaroli. Once used for sightings against barbarian attacks, today it is an integral part of the port, a panoramic point overlooking the sea and the village.

The beaches and the sea are really enchanting and suitable for the whole family because the stretch of beach is very wide with soft and golden sand and well equipped, full of shores, modernly equipped where various recreational activities are organized for all age groups. And for this reason Acciaroli in recent years offers numerous possibilities for fun, especially for young people and certainly remains a point of reference for visiting the other countries of the Cilento Coast.
